License

A boundary is crossed by permission.

This License describes the permissions created when you use Composium or deliberately submit material through it.

It does not transfer ownership of your composition to Composium.

Your license to use Composium

Subject to the applicable Terms, Composium grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to access and use the Composium service for its intended purposes.

This permission does not give you ownership of Composium’s software, interfaces, branding, documentation, methods, content, or other protected material.

Except where permitted by law or expressly authorized by Composium, you may not reproduce, redistribute, sell, sublicense, commercially exploit, or provide unauthorized access to protected Composium material or systems.

Material you bring

You retain the rights you hold in material you create or submit through Composium.

Simply creating or saving a composition does not grant Composium ownership of it.

Material you send to Composium

When you deliberately send or submit a composition to Composium, you give Composium a limited, non-exclusive permission to receive, store, access, reproduce where technically necessary, and process that material solely to provide, operate, secure, and administer the interaction or service you requested.

This permission does not give Composium ownership of your material.

It does not, by itself, give Composium permission to publish your composition, sell it, present it as Composium’s work, or use it to promote Composium.

Any materially different use requires an appropriate legal basis or separate permission.

Sharing

When you choose to share a composition with another person or service, you instruct Composium to make the selected material available through that chosen pathway.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights necessary to share the material.

Sharing does not automatically transfer ownership.

No implied access

Access to one composition, interface, engagement, or part of Composium does not imply access to another.

Permissions are limited to the boundary through which they were granted.

No broader license arises merely from access, participation, proximity, or previous interaction.

Ending permission

Where a permission depends solely on your use or submission of material to provide a requested service, Composium will limit subsequent use when that purpose ends, subject to applicable law, legitimate operational requirements, the Terms, Privacy notice, and any rights or obligations that must survive termination.

Requests concerning personal data are handled under the Privacy notice and applicable data-protection law.

The principle

Permission is specific.
Transfer is deliberate.
Ownership does not move unless it is expressly transferred.

This License operates together with the Terms, Privacy notice, Copyright notice, and Code of Conduct. Where applicable law requires otherwise, applicable law prevails.
