Philosophy

Current becomes card. You bring signal; we provide aperture. The transaction ends when the card appears. No open loops. No extracted current. Only time-bounded flows. All engagements are fixed-term. No subscriptions.

What This Agreement Covers

These Terms of Use (“Agreement”) establish a legal contract between you (the user) and Composium OY (the service provider) when you use Composium in any form.

By clicking “Conduct a Composition” on composium.app or otherwise accessing the service via composium.co, composium.studio, or composium.app, you agree to be bound by these terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Service Definition

1.1 What Composium Is

Composium OY provides one core service: translation of your inherent current into a Composium Card™—a fixed-time, bounded transaction that conducts your signal into specified form (SVG composition).

You are not purchasing software. You are not purchasing a subscription. You are purchasing one transaction with a defined entry point, duration, and exit.

1.2 The Standard Transaction

  1. Entry: click “Conduct a Composition” on composium.app
  2. Bounded time: 420 seconds (7 minutes)
  3. Conduction: your input → Claude API → SVG output
  4. Payment: click “Finalize Composition” and complete Stripe payment (€4)
  5. Card delivery: SVG composition stored in your vault, timestamped and final
  6. Exit: transaction terminated; current stops completely

1.3 Optional: Deeper Engagement

All additional engagements are fixed-term, bounded, and non-recurring. No subscriptions at any stage.

1.4 What You Are Not Purchasing

Long-term software access; unlimited API calls or unlimited transactions; ongoing support or maintenance; ownership of Composium’s technology or interface; training rights or secondary use; recurring charges or subscriptions.

2. Who This Service Is For (Gatekeeping)

2.1 Primary Source Requirement

Composium is designed exclusively for individuals who are primary sources of creative, intellectual, or visionary current.

Primary sources: originate new material, perspective, or vision; create or compose without extracting others’ work; own their inherent signal.

Excluded users: consume, curate, or aggregate without original current; use Composium to process, remix, or resell others’ work; lack an independent source node of signal.

2.2 Representation and Warranty

By clicking “Conduct a Composition,” you represent and warrant that you are a primary source, you own your input, you understand the service is a time-bounded transaction, and you accept these terms.

2.3 Right to Refuse Service

Composium OY reserves the right to refuse service or terminate access if we reasonably determine you are not a primary source, are using the service in violation of this Agreement, or your use threatens the integrity of the grid.

3. The Transaction Lifecycle

3.1 Entry Phase

GPS location recorded (required), local timestamp recorded, unique click_id generated, liquid phase begins.

3.2 Liquid Phase (Composition)

You provide prompts; Claude API processes them; responses are displayed; none of this is logged or stored; you can edit and iterate; all ephemeral, all flushed upon exit.

3.3 Payment Threshold

“Finalize Composition” → Stripe payment gate → payment success marks the threshold from liquid to illiquid.

3.4 Card Finalization

Composition rendered as SVG, encrypted, stored with timestamp and click_id, final, session terminates.

3.5 Exit Phase

Transaction complete, no further interaction with servers, no logs remain, no loops left open.

4. Time Boundaries & Pricing

4.1 Standard Transaction (420 Seconds)

Duration 420 seconds. Price €4.00 EUR. Payment must complete before time elapses. You get one Composium Card™ in your vault.

4.2 Conductor Sessions (90 Minutes)

€300 or case-by-case. Structural work on your card; integration guidance. Booking via composium.co. One-time, not recurring.

4.3 Fixed-Term Engagements (1–7 Weeks)

Case-by-case negotiation for organizations and structural clients. Fixed endpoint; no auto-renewal.

4.4 No Subscriptions

No recurring billing anywhere in the service.

4.5 Time Expiration (Standard Transaction)

If 420 seconds expires before finalizing: session ends automatically, liquid data flushed, no carryover, no refund, no extension.

5. Payment & Currency

5.1 Payment Processing

Stripe processes all standard-transaction payments; PCI DSS Level 1 compliant; we never store card details.

5.2 Currency

EUR by default; converted at Stripe’s rate for other currencies.

5.3 Payment Signifies Conversion

Clicking “Finalize Composition” authorizes the charge and signifies conversion of current into card.

5.4 Refund Policy

Transactions are final and non-refundable once payment clears. Exception: failed payment due to Stripe/system error — no charge applied, retry allowed.

5.5 No Recurring Charges

Every payment across every tier is one-time.

6. Ownership & Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Ownership

Full ownership, distribution rights, and enactment rights over every card you create. No restrictions from us.

6.2 Your Input (Current)

Your prompts remain your intellectual property.

6.3 Composium Ownership

We retain all rights to the app, interface, Claude API integration, aperture, and architecture. You receive no copy of code or algorithms.

6.4 No Derivative Use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, train competing models on, extract source from, or resell access to Composium.

7. Liability & Responsibility

7.1 Core Liability Clause

Composium OY conducts the flow of your current into form. Outcomes belong to you, the originating source.

7.2 We Are NOT Liable For

Claude’s output, your use of the card, outcomes of your card, third-party failures (Anthropic/Stripe/Supabase), or service interruptions beyond our control.

7.3 We ARE Liable For

Data breach of our vault, unauthorized access to your cards, violation of stated retention policies, or misuse of entry metadata for purposes other than boundary integrity.

7.4 Limitation of Damages

Total liability capped at the amount you paid for the transaction.

7.5 Indemnification

You indemnify Composium OY against claims arising from your use of your card, your input, your conduction, or misrepresentation as a primary source.

8. User Responsibilities

Accurate GPS information (no spoofing); appropriate, lawful use; you are solely responsible for your inputs, what you create, and how you apply your card.

9. Termination & Discontinuation

9.1 Termination by Us

Immediate, for breach, unlawful use, or threats to service integrity. No refunds for one-time transactions.

9.2 Termination by You

Standard transactions end when finalized; no cancellation once in progress.

9.3 Fixed-Term Engagement Endpoints

End at the agreed date; no auto-renewal.

9.4 Effect of Termination

Access ceases; cards remain in vault (authenticated) or delete after 60 days (anonymous); data deleted per Privacy Policy except where legally required to retain (e.g. tax records).

10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

Governed by the laws of Finland. Exclusive jurisdiction: courts of Helsinki. Mediation optional before litigation. This Agreement + Privacy Policy + In-App Transaction Agreement form the entire agreement.

11. Modifications to This Agreement

Minor changes posted with updated date; material changes get 30 days’ notice via email or in-app banner. Continued use after changes = acceptance.

12. Third-Party Services

Claude AI (Anthropic), Stripe, and Supabase are each subject to their own terms; Composium OY is not responsible for their performance except per our own contractual agreements with them.

13. Disclaimers

Provided “as is,” no warranty of uninterrupted service, output accuracy, or outcome. No ongoing support or maintenance — this is a bounded transaction service. Not liable for force majeure events.
